One of Windows most successful OS and also one of the most widely accepted operating systems from the OS-box of Microsoft will be no more – I mean will be dead soon!- in a matter of years, if not months. In simple English – you didn’t just read french though. LOL- it would be safe to say that death is finally knocking on the Windows 7 OS door and it’s only a matter of time before death forcefully breaks down the door… or perhaps get in through the window.

Windows has made it clear that the extended support of Windows 7 will be completed in three years. What this means is that for users of Windows 7 PCs, as from the 14th day of January in the year 2020, no security updates, and no technical support will be provided by or through Microsoft. This is quite sad because after a lengthy and successful spell of more than 10 years on the market, Windows 7 can no longer keep up with the increased security requirements required by PCs of today. According to Windows, “The Windows 7 is based on “long-outdated security architectures”and organisations using the OS are running the risk of costly incidents due to malware attacks”
Still according to Windows, “Many hardware manufacturers no longer provide drivers for Windows 7, which means that modern peripherals such as printers are no longer recognised.”

This has got to be one of the saddest any Windows 7 users or lovers must have read this week… well, it was expected anyways. Guess the day hath finally come. So tell us, what would you be missing when the Windows 7 is finally “gone” and stops receiving support from Windows?
