Royale A1 specs, Royals A1 price in Nigeria, Royale A1, Royale A1 review, Royals A1 full specs,

Fero Mobile is the newest entrant in the Nigeria mobile space. They have launched, upon their entry, two smartphones Рthe Royals A1 phone and the Iris phone. Before now, Fero had also been involved in making low end Feature phones for the phone market and it would be fair to say that they have a remarkable portion of the market.

Moving forward, today we’ll be taking an intense look at one of the two smartphones that was released by Fero mobile. We want to know if the hype, if any, was actually worth it. But, as things are now, it seems the Royal A1 smartphone is a low end smartphone, with modest specs and price.

You want to know more about it? Then please do not go anywhere as we take this very long ride into the tech world of the Fero Royale A1 smartphone. STAY..

The Royale A1 smartphone features a 5.0 inch display. You know, most other phones released recently into this market have always been featuring a 5.5 inches display, but it seems Royale A1 isn’t a phone in that caliber. But then, the display proves far larger than some other LG “K” smartphones.

Its not as big as the 5.5 inches, and not too small like the 4.5 ones, so we’d say its a Near- perfect display size. Though I’d prefer a larger size.

Images and videos on the 5-inch screen are displayed in high quality as the display is of High Definition (HD) IPS display make. The Royale A1 has a display resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels which translates into nothing less than beautiful and sharp images on the screen. Also noteworthy is that the screen supports multi-touch, while it features 16M colors.

The Royale A1 measures 145.5 mm in length, 71*9 mm in breadth and 4 mm in thickness. It wouldn’t be a load too heavy as it weighs 137g. It is covered by a Textured Poly-Carbonate based back panel.

A 4 mm thick phone is no doubt a very slim one. I must say that I am impressed by the measurement of this phone, especially the “thickness” part. Nobody in this age and time would love carrying a very big, fat phone which looks like Adolf Hitler’s telephone around – that’s on a lighter not though. But still, thumbs up Fero Mobile, ON THIS.

Royale A1 smartphone runs on an Android Operating system v6.0 Marshmallow and has an 8GB internal storage space. You at at liberty to expand this space to the tune of 32GB using an external microSD card.

The smartphone also features a rather disappointing 1 GB RAM. If everybody had followed our new year resolution not to buy any phone below a 3 GB RAM phone, then the Royale A1 smartphone wouldn’t be availed with a customer. We want to think since this is their first release in the Nigerian market, they want to take it small. Let’s hope so.

A MediaTek MTK6580 chipset- which is quite old is chipped into the Royale A1 smartphone. The processor is also pegged at 1.3GHz speed and has four cores (Quad core). The available RAM would surely make the phone be a victims of periodic freezing or lagging which might not be a good feeling at all.

On the camera, the Royale A1 smartphone features an 8 MP camera on its rear and its front facing camera is left at a 5 MP quality. Is it only me, or why are almost all brands of smartphones pegging their front facing camera at 5 MP – the least.

Well, I’d say an 8 MP camera is fair, when we also look at the caliber of the phone and relate it to other specs like the RAM and internal memory. The phone isn’t one that is capable of draining one’s pocket – or so we hope.

Now, to be powerhouse of the smartphone. The Fero Royals A1 smartphone comes fully packed with a 5,000mAh Li-Poly battery capacity. Yes, I knew it. There’s no way you’ll have a phone and you won’t have a selling point for that phone.

The battery power of this phone seem to be its selling point, and if it really is, I must say that Fero Mobile has actually done their homework work when it comes to researching the market they want to launch into. Because in Nigeria, a 5000 mAh battery is what everybody would desire. The only thing that could be better than that is a battery capacity higher than 5000 mAh. Double thumbs up Fero.

The battery capacity above, has been made as a selling point. You’d decide for yourself if the price is too. The Royale A1 smartphone currently sells for N40,000 on online stores and phone shops.

A N40,000 price tag, I would say is a fair price and would definitely compete favorably with other smartphones of its category. In fact, I think the very large battery capacity would give the Royale A1 an edge over other devices.

So on a general note, I’d say the Royale A1 smartphone is a very good one, but your choice of it would depend on what exctly is your priority. Is it a good battery, or a fair price, or a very big RAM. I’m sure most people would want everything, but you don’t get everything, you only get a piece of everything.
