Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) students are to represent Nigeria in the forth coming Microsoft competition to be held in Seattle. The OAU team dubbed ‘Team Humane’  came successful from the national competition cup of the competition in the World Citizenship category in Nigeria. According to our source, Team Humane, became successful after developed an application that helps visually impaired people to be able to use apps on smartphones on windows OS. Team Humane called the application the humane handle.

The good news is that the best won, and they will be representing Nigeria in the forth coming Microsoft world competition. We pray they also beats others and bring the awards back to Nigeria

According to a blog post by Pablo Veramendi, Imagine Cup Competition Manager, a total of 35 teams will be heading to Seattle for the World Finals on July 26 – 29. All 35 teams will be competing for a chance to win $50,000 as the winner in their respective categories, while one team will go on to win the Imagine Cup and the grand prize, a private mentoring session with Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella.
