Hi.. I Am max!

The iPhone 6s and 6s plus are barely months old, but as is the tradition – rumours of the next iPhone is already making the rounds. The release of Next year’s iPhone – the iPhone 7, may be months away but Apple’s Cupertino based techies are already into its design. The dynamics and design: both exterior and interior are not available in public domain, but you can trust netizens to never stop searching and ofcourse never stop speculating. The internet is populated by different “mental class” of people : The sane and the not so sane. The sane may include but not limited to geeks and nerds while the not so sane may include but not limited to pychos, sociopaths, the clueless and the confused. Obviously, being juxtaposed by groups of significantly different chaps, one would expect weird speculations. Out of the zillions of speculations out there ( mostly by the ‘not so sane’ clique) on the open web, We bring you the most plausible speculations about the iphone 7.

1. Before the launch of this year’s iphones: the iPhone 6s and 6s plus, the Internet was abuzz with rumors of them being christened the iPhone 7. However, after the launch we discovered that the rumors were just what the were – rumors. Will Apple’s next iPhone be called? iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus? iPhone 7 mini? Or weirdly something totally new? To answer our questions, let’s do the math ourselves. Apple alternates between internal upgrades ( software and performance) for the ‘S’ update, then a physical redesign for a number update. With rumors of a radically redesigned chassis and other physical design improvement, it’s almost safe to say the next iPhone will be called the iPhone 7.

2. Launch date for next year’s iPhone 7 will almost certainly be September. So any apple fan hoping to snap up the flagship phone in time should save enough before September 2016. Not convinced? the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s were unveiled on 10 September 2013; the iPhone 5 was unveiled on 12 September.iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were unveiled on 9 September 2014 and released on 19th September. This year’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus were unveiled on 9 September 2015 (and released to the public on 25 September). Now the pattern is pretty clear to any sane rreader. Again, according to rumors, following tradition Apple Inc is probably going to unveil the new iPhone on Friday, 18th of September.

3. Ever wondered why the iPhone 4 & 4s as well as 6 and 6s looked alike each pair? Well, here is the trick: Apple usually keeps the same design for two generations of the iPhone (the 4 and 4s, or the 6 and 6s). Considering the iPhone 7 is going to start a new two-generation , the iPhone 7 is most definitely going to feature a completely new design. After about 2 years of rumors, Apple may finally use Sapphire glass for the display and Liquidmetal for the chassis of its iPhone. However, we think there is just a 50% chance for this. Also based on patent document by the US patent office, Apple is investigating ways build the touch ID sensor on the iPhone into screen itself, raising hopes for a buttonless iPhone 7, but again there us just a 50% chance for this.

4. Apple announced that this year’s iPhones were the slimmest ever, but its highly plausible that the iPhone 6s and 6s plus may lose that title to the iPhone 7 come November 2016.

Pictured above are sketches from patent document which suggests Apple may be looking for ways to reduce the conspicuous headphone port. The patent document titled “Low Profile Male Connector” with US patent number 9142908 stresses the need for a substancially smaller sized headphone port and connector: “With the diminishing size of electronic devices, there is a significant desire to similarly reduce the size of electrical connectors. However, as the size of electrical connectors is reduced, numerous problems arise. For example, reductions in a size of an electrical connector requires a corresponding reduction in size of pin-shaped electrodes arranged in the connector.”
