Today, we’ll be looking at the specifications of the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle while as well reviewing the device too. HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle is a new mid-range Android smartphone from the stables of HTC.

Down to business…

The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle comes in all-plastic design featuring some gold-coloured accents on top of its all-plastic design which makes it really colourful. Neither does it slip nor slide when held. The physical power button is located on the side and it isn’t too bulgy, giving the device a more sleeky look.

However, the top and bottom bezels surrounding the screen are quite big (it’s understandable that the bottom bezel houses the 3 capacitive buttons; the HOME , RETURN and MENU button).  HTC would have received a 9 out of a 10 from me if they had graced this device with a minimal screen-to-body ratio. This would have given the device a more premium look and also give customers more reason to want the device as the preference of sleek and small smartphones is on the rise.

The flat volume buttons are on the right side of the handset.

The left side of the device houses the two Nano SIM slots and a microSD slot for storage expansion.

The bottom side of the phone holds the wrist strap hook, micro USB port and the handset’s speaker, a BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition speaker setup.

The top side of the device sports the 3.5 mm earphone port.

The Desire 10 has a dimension of 156.9 x 76.9 x 7.7mm, and weighs 155g which is not as heavy as it seems. It is quite a light device.

The Desire 10 Lifestyle features a 5.5” LCD screen, with a 720×1280 pixels resolution and 267 pixel per inch (ppi), which is quite good enough for surfing the net, reading books, gaming, watching movies and all other phone stuff.

The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyleoffers aOne particularly cool feature of this device’s display is the color temperature slider in its settings. The HTC Desire 10 Lifestylelets you customize how cool or warm you want your colors to be.

The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. However, it is still unknown if there would be an Android Nougat 7.0 update for this device.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with integrated Adreno 305 graphics processor is found on this mid-range device. A processor frequency of 1600 MHz makes the device function as smooth as possible.

The HTC desire 10 comes in a 2 GB or 3 GB RAM variant, both of which handles multitasking perfectly.

As said earlier, the Desire 10 comes in two variants in terms of RAM. Well, same applies to storage. The 3 GB version comes with 32 GB internal storage, while its smaller sibling (the 2GB RAM version) has just 16 GB internal storage capacity. I’m very sure the storage spaces provided are quite small but the microSD slot which according to specifications, can handle up to 2 TB of external storage capacity would make up for that.

The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle comes with a 13 MP rear-facing camera and a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera both of which produces amazing crystal clear images.

The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle comes out of the box with a 2700 MAh Li – Po battery.

HTC reckons that the Desire 10 can give you up to 8 hours of HD video playback or up to 50 hours of audio playback – which is a decent amount of time if true.

This is a little disappointing as it is said to run out of power in 6 hours and 2 minutes and sometimes 7 hours and some minutes.

However, the battery juice could stay a little longer than expected depending on the manner and depth of usage by a user. To the gamers, phone addicts and those who are particularly interested in a device owning a huge and powerful battery capacity, this might not be the phone you are looking for.

Black, Dark blue, Light blue and White.

In the UK the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle price has been set at £249 for the 3GB/32GB variant.

However, European customers can get it for around $300.

The Nigeria, Kenya and India price also hovers around $300.
