So Samsung, in the last World Mobile Congress event which was a very successful one, instead of releasing a smartphone as people had envisaged, they opted to announce a tablet instead. I think the surprise factor should be inculcated in some of our manufacturer’s products. You don’t have to be too predictable.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Tab S3 is the best of all the tablets they have released in the industry. i’m sure you can’t wait to see the specs and confirm for yourself. Spoiler; you’d be very impressed. let us get to it without wasting too much time. Stay with me.
DISPLAY OF THE SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S3
The S3 tablet comes with a 9.7 inches super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 264 ppi and a 1536 by 2048 pixel resolution. The 9.7 inches screen is explained by the fact that the tablet has been said to be able to double as a laptop, though this screen size is still somewhat lesser than that of a laptop.
The device measures 237.3 mm in length, 169 mm in breadth while it measures 6mm in thickness. Galaxy Tab S3 weighs 429 g which is expected given the caliber of device it is. Its very good it is as heavy as a laptop.
This device still has the 3.5 mm audio jack in its routine place, while a fingerprint sensor is mounted at the front of the device. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 can boast of its beautifully carved rounded edges, while it comes in two different colors, white and black.
TECHNOLOGY OF THE SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S3
This Galaxy tab runs on an Android operating system v7.0 (Nougat), coupled with Samsung’s Grace UX user interface. It possesses a Quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor. The device also supports the 4G LTE network and makes use of a Nano-Sim.
SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S3 CAMERA
Talking about this very important aspect which many people hold in high esteem, the Galaxy Tab S3 is not exceptionally brilliant here as it features a 13 MP camera on its rear. While many might argue that this camera quality is okay, I want to blatantly refuse to be pulled into that school of thought. I really think they should have done better than this.
More disappointing is the 5 MP camera quality which it features at the front. This camera is just exactly the same with the Meizu M5 smartphone we reviewed last. Also worthy to note are the presence of Autofocus and LED flash inculcated with the rear camera.
RAM AND INTERNAL STORAGE OF THE SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S3
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 boasts of a 4 GB RAM – which I think is a very fair one from them – while it possesses an internal memory of 32 GB. The internal memory can be expanded up to 256 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Please note that there is a dedicated slot for the micro SD card on the Galaxy Tab S3, so you won’t have to sacrifice any Sim slot for the SD card.
I actually think a 32 GB internal storage memory is a fair one from the producers of the tablet.
SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S3 BATTERY
The battery power of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has been pegged at a powerful 6000 mAh, but then, I have not been surprised at anything since I saw the Gionee M2017 with a battery capacity of 7000 mAh. So what’s new? Nothing, I guess. The battery is definitely non removable, and it supports fast battery charging.
Then again, a 6000 mAh battery could be said to be above average as it is sure to offer a quality period of time for the user.
MULTIMEDIA
Bluetooth is of the version 4.2. the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 supports WLAN, GPS and USB, which is of v3.1. Worthy of note is that it comes with four stereo speakers.
PRICE OF THE SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S3
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 would sell for about 750 EUR. Taking the present exchange rate into consideration, it would sell for almost N250,000 in Nigeria. Whether this price is fair or not is totally left to the customers.

Okay, lets here the Samsung loyalists and antagonists talk. We’ve tried to give a fair and balanced view, but again, we still want to know what exactly you think about this “best” tablet by big device manufacturers, Samsung.
