Instagram To Enable Booking Appointments With Businesses Soon

So it seems like the owners of both whatsapp and instagram mean actual business when it comes to making their platforms the surest bet for businesses. As part of the efforts to expand the app’s consumer uses, Instagram will soon let people book appointments with businesses. But then, I see it as parts of efforts to increase the money they get from adverts, which isn’t a bad thing anyway.

For example, you’d be able to book a makeover by going to a makeup artist’s instagram profile and then click a button to schedule it, or say for the guys, book a barber and get a haircut once you honour the appointment.

Exactly what I wrote in the post about whatsapp was that “One would surely not write off the patronage from businesses when it comes to advertising to a very large and targeted audience. And to be fair, this and even more is what whatsapp has in their control, when you talk about their users.”

You would agree with me that there are very viable similarities between instagram and whatsapp in terms of user base even if whatsapp is more, they’d surely make a whole chunk of money from doing this. Again, ideas rule the world.
