Apple To Debut First Ever Wireless Charging Feature With iPhone 8

If trends are to be followed squarely and rumors/reports are to be held with any form of credibility, then it is expected that   Apple  launches the iPhone 8 later this year. Some have even reported that they are expected to launch three different phones this year.

Well, its not the launching that is our problem now, its what comes with the launching of these phones. The features of these phones is one of the major determinant of its acceptability – which is a most important aspect – in the smartphone market.

Credible reports from KGI securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has it that All the three phones that Apple might launch this year are expected to have wireless charging, Apple’s first, which many have also opined that it is a development that is long overdue. It should have come long ago.

iPhone 7 money wasted

is this how the iPhone 8 will look like?

In addition, Kuo said wireless charging increases the internal temperature of smartphones, so he expects Apple to add an insulating graphite sheet lamination to prevent it from malfunctioning due to overheating. And this would definitely cost more money.

Personally, even though I’m not a fanboy, I’d give Apple a honest advice to take this part very seriously, except of course they are making plans to stage a repeat of the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco.  I don’t want to think that.

Well, below are other expected specifications of the iPhone 8.

* A 5.8-inch OLED screen.

* Wireless charging feature

* An all-glass casing

* An edge-to-edge screen

* Virtual home button recognition.

* A double lens camera.

* New 3D-sensing technology along with Facial and Gesture recognition.

The fact that this addition would lead to more additions to the features of the iPhone 8 for precautionary measures would also translate into a higher price tag. I can only imagine how much the iPhone 8 – when launched – could go for. But for now, let us focus on its acceptability in the market first.
